ZDMP aims to develop and establish a digital platform to connect smart factories for achieving excellence in European and Global Manufacturing. It focuses on both Process and Product quality modules for pre, during, supervisory, and post-production quality issues to empower connected factories to reach the zero defects. ZDMP offers an open Industry 4.0 environment where a new generation of developed zero-defect service applications built using the ZDMP SDK (Software Development Kit) will be available in a marketplace. These applications will contribute to create an ecosystem where ZDMP stakeholders would be able to interact with each other. The platform targets to enable the collaboration of actors throughout the zero defects supply chain.
SPHERE's ultimate goal is the improvement and optimisation of buildings' energy design, construction, performance, and management, reducing construction costs and their environmental impact while increasing overall energy performance. The solution will integrate two planes of research, innovation and improvement : The first one consisting of an integration of the processes under the Digital Twin Concept involving not only the Design and Construction of the Building but including also the Manufacturing and the Operational phases. The second one being the integrated platform that will be achieved through an underlying ICT Systems of Systems infrastructure based on Platform as a Service (PaaS) service to allow large scale data, information and knowledge integration and synchronization thus allowing a better handling and processing. Special care will be taken with Cyber security, Usability and Data Sovereignty of the whole system.
The international iReceptor Plus consortium aims to promote human immunological data storage, integration and controlled sharing for a wide range of clinical and scientific purposes. iReceptor Plus will enable researchers around the world to share and analyze huge immunological datasets taken from healthy individuals and sick patients that have been sequenced and stored in databanks in multiple countries.
HiSea aims to develop, test and demonstrate information services that provides high resolution data of water quality at sea. The services offered by HiSea will incorporate and process data that are being obtained through the marine, land and climate services COPERNICUS, local monitoring data and advanced modelling. The platform will improve operation, planning and management of different marine activities, with a focus on the usage in the port and aquaculture sectors.
eFactory is a federated smart factory ecosystem and a digital platform that interlinks different stakeholders of the digital manufacturing domain. The eFactory platform enables users to utilise innovative functionalities, experiment with disruptive approaches and develop custom solutions for specific needs.
Within the project, COMPRISE will define a fully private-by-design methodology and tools that will reduce the cost and increase the inclusiveness of voice interaction technology through research advances on privacy-driven data transformations, personalised learning, automatic labelling, and integrated translation. This leads to a holistic easy-to-use software development kit interoperating with a cloud-based resource platform. The sustainability of this new ecosystem will be demonstrated for three sectors with high commercial impact: smart consumer apps, e-commerce, and e-health.
The aim of the ATTENTION project is the development of a new type of medical-technical system for simultaneous transcranial alternating current stimulation (tACS) and deduction of an electroencephalogram (EEG) for adult patients with ADHD. The procedure envisaged in this project will be an alternative or supplement to medical therapy, which will make it possible to reduce the dosage and thus undesirable side-effects of pharmaceuticals as well as the associated costs. The development envisages a mobile system in order to be able to implement a home application and thus to adjust the therapy plan to the individual life situation.
The aim of the BewARe project is the development of a technically supported movement and mobility training for seniors with hypertension based on an intelligent augmented reality system. Various exercises from the training components endurance, strength, mobility and coordination are made available and individual stress normatives are taken into account.
eTEACHER aims to empower building end-users to achieve energy savings and improve comfort for the sake of health and wellbeing. The project will develop intervention strategies according to cultural and demographic indicators. The project takes place in 12 different demo sites located in three European countries with different climatic conditions.
In a joint project, a modular PD Exergame system in the form of an experimental test environment, which enables the testing and further research of non-pharmacological therapy concepts using Exergaming (Module PD Exergaming), will be developed. For this, based on the medical requirements for PD, novel speech and gesture-based interaction concepts (module PD interaction), sensor-based, device-independent controllers for control (PD sensors) as well concepts for data collection, data management and data analysis (PD analysis) will be aquired.
During this project concepts and systems for new medical technology that utilizes sensors and actuators distributed over the user's body which collect information and give feedback are being developed. The sensors are integrated into clothes, jewelry or shoes and measure vital parameters and movements. Distributed and networked actuators note a slowly rising need for physical activity and give recommendations for therapeutic exercises in an unobtrusive and non-stigmatizing way. This requires miniaturization, wireless networking and power supply.
The overall goal of TACNET is the development of a unified, industrial 5G communication system, which integrates 5G networks and industrial communication networks. To achieve this goal, it extends 5G concepts with innovative, industrial-specific approaches. Additionall, network overlapping adaption mechanisms and interfaces between industrial- and mobile communication networks will be developed.
A central element of the research project vf-OS, which is in the context of Industry 4.0, is to develop a system for manufacturing companies that is flexible, expandable and customizable. Based on concepts of modularity and operating systems, vf-OS is able to manage processes and individual applications. An additional aspect of vf-OS is development of modular applications. vf-OS enables manufacturing companies to analyze and optimize processes and also take precautionary measures to decrease failures and delays on time. Furthermore, a marketplace will be developed to create a platform for customers and developers. Customers will be able to buy or lease applications and developers will be motivated to publish new applications in the marketplace.
MMAA’s aim is to provide magazines with a cost-efficient SaaS solution for exploring new business models. It will allow them a sustainable migration into the digital world, open up new strategies for monetization and thus promote the employment quality of journalists and audiovisual creators in the music field. At the same time MMAA will grant music artists, bands and record labels valuable insights on where and who their fans are. This information is based on the MMAA ecosystem’s Big Data analysis and other sources.
The target of CREMA is to develop a system in the context of Industry 4.0, which enables manufacturing processes to establish, manage and automate internal work processes in a cloud environment. Important information (such as workflow delays, machine failures, etc.) are transmitted to the appropriate responsible person. Furthermore, CREMA helps to optimise manufacturing design processes and provides a B2B marketplace to offer free manufacturing resources to customers for sale.

The aim of the project Glassistant is the assistance of people with Mild Cognitive Impairment (MCI) and healthy seniors in their daily live. Glassistant provides an inconspicuous wizard, based on Smart Glasses, that offers a longer independent participation in the social environment, offering assistance when it is needed.
A major problem today in the construction domain is the potential loss of benefits of energy-efficient building components because of the lack of knowledge or bad implementation during the construction processes. During the project ACCEPT will be created – An Assistant for quality Check during Construction Execution Processes for energy-efficienT buildings. The assistant will run on Smart Glasses and unobtrusively guide workers during the construction on site. This provides a standardized and coordinated process for all workers, ensuring that all benefits of energy-efficient building components are maintained.
The goal of Singularity is to rationalize the data stored in disparate systems through a Single Source of Truth approach. Singularity will provide a virtual environment that provides a real-time, unified data view of disparate information sources fortified with expanded intelligence and visualization. With Singularity SMEs can store, manage and mine their data rapidly and effectively. A major use case of Singularity is to use the underlying data store for detailed and flexible A-B testing scenarios allowing market analysis and the effective creation of marketing campaigns.
ALFRED’s objective is to develop a mobile, personalized assistant for elderly people, which helps them to stay independent, to coordinate with carers and to foster their social inclusion. ALFRED is specifically dedicated towards older people and is fully focused around their needs. ALFRED will run for three years with a total budget of 4.440.741€, involving eleven partners from five European countries.
SAM is about Socialising Around Media. SAM provides open, standardised ways of characterising, discovering and syndicating media content items interactively. Users will be able to consume and prosume media content from different syndicated sources, using different synchronised devices, ranging from tablets, phablets and smartphones to notebooks and connected TV sets. With SAM content providers can create richer, enhanced experiences around original media content items such as television programming, TV shows and on-demand video. Instead of users reaching for TV related data it is the data, which reaches the user through the project syndication approach and their Second Screen.

The AAL project NeuroCare addresses the topic "future assistant care". The main target group being of the project are older people with a beginning demential desease or a congnitive impairment. Additionally, the project targets caretakers who want to support those persons. Within the project, Ascora creates an innovative mobile solution for supporting the target group and for easing the screening process.
SIMPLY-CITY is a research- and development project in the IT domain, which is implemented close-partnered with 9 other partners and it is supported from the 7th social program.
